I'm back! Did you miss me? Well, tomorrow marks a momentous occasion that warranted a post. The sequel to one of my favorite books is coming out ... Terry McMillan's Getting to Happy. Tomorrow, we get to find out what happened to Bernadette, Robin, Savannah and Gloria. If you've been reading the sneak previews that Essence has been printing over the last months then you know that all is not well with the fabulous four.
There's no way this book will live up to it's predecessor, but there's also no way that I can't get it and probably read it tomorrow night. I may have to take it to a restaurant or waiting area just to hold it up and make some men mad, too!
So, tomorrow on the way home from work. I am picking up four old friends. We'll have dinner, we'll watch a little TV and eventually we'll probably fall asleep together. And maybe, just maybe, I'll even post my thoughts for all of my anxious readers to enjoy.
